Morris Dancing in St. Louis |
Blackthorn Morris presents
traditional Morris dance in innovative and exciting performances for any occasion, including street festivals, galas,
weddings, gallery openings, parties, school events, banquets, etc. For more information, contact Gitry Heydebrand at: 314-863-1825, gitry@aol.com or visit our website.
 | | The Capering Roisters perform Morris dances from the Cotswold Hills of England. We wear bells on our legs and dance to great traditional tunes that propel the dancers into motion. We dance with sticks to clash or hankies (white squares of cloth) to show off. To book a performance, or to learn to dance or play music with us, contact John Long, dance leader, at 314 647 1804, or johnlongbuild@yahoo.co. |
|
The River Rats are a morris team, specialising in dances from the border region
between England and Wales. Some of our dances are quite old; some are
learned from other teams; some are our own invention, incorporating
elements of older dances. Or not.
We are available for bookings, and will add a touch of colour, energy
and insanity to any festive occasion. To contact us, email
j_c_stein@yahoo.com, or phone 314-726-4707.
